The commitments behind our community support work — written plainly, available in full to funders, partners and community members on request.
Every facilitator and volunteer working with With Women Academy is briefed on our safeguarding policy before delivery, and roles involving regular contact with children or adults at risk are subject to appropriate background checks.
Concerns are escalated to our designated safeguarding lead the same working day. Family events are risk assessed, staffed by named responsible adults and run with a clear reporting route displayed on site.
We collect only the information we need to run our women's community programmes, family events and partnership reporting. Enquiry and newsletter details are used to reply to you and to send the updates you asked for.
We do not sell personal data. Outcome measures used in funder reporting are aggregated and anonymised. You can ask us to correct or delete your details at any time by emailing hello@withwomenacademy.co.uk.
This website aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA: colour contrast is tested across the palette, every interactive element is reachable and visible with a keyboard, images carry descriptive alternative text and forms use explicit labels.
We plan for visible and non-visible disability alike — mobility aids and wheelchair access, hearing loops and BSL on request, neurodiverse-friendly quiet spaces, low-sensory sessions, large-print or plain-English materials, and welcome for carers and women attending with children.
Our in-person venues are selected for step-free access, accessible toilets and quiet space wherever possible. Tell us what you need at community@withwomenacademy.co.uk and we will make it work — you never have to disclose a diagnosis to be accommodated.

Trust & governance
We work alongside funders, councils, employers and community organisations — with published policies, trained facilitators and outcomes measured at every stage of delivery.
With Women Academy delivers what it promises and reports on it properly. That combination is rare in grassroots delivery.
Our employee volunteering days with the Academy are the most requested CSR activity we run.
I came for a coffee morning and stayed for the whole pathway. It genuinely changed the direction of my year.
