Understanding Yourself
Values, strengths and personal story. Women map where they are now and what matters most to them.
Programme
A structured development experience helping women reconnect, build confidence and create positive change.

Delivered in small cohorts by trained facilitators, the Connection Pathway combines group coaching, wellbeing practice and peer support. Every cohort is measured at entry, midpoint and completion using validated wellbeing scales, so outcomes are evidenced rather than assumed.
The modules
Values, strengths and personal story. Women map where they are now and what matters most to them.
Practical tools to quiet self-doubt, speak up and take up space in rooms that once felt closed.
Regulating stress, setting boundaries and building the steadiness to keep going through setbacks.
Naming the practical and internal barriers — childcare, cost, transport, fear — and planning around them.
Small, sustainable routines for wellbeing, energy and follow-through that survive real life.
Goals, next steps and warm introductions into work, training, enterprise or volunteering.
Enquire
Women can register their interest for the next cohort. Councils, housing providers and employers can commission the Connection Pathway for a specific community or workforce.
“By week six I said something in a group of strangers without my hands shaking. By week twelve I was applying for jobs.”
Trust & governance
We work alongside funders, councils, employers and community organisations — with published policies, trained facilitators and outcomes measured at every stage of delivery.
With Women Academy delivers what it promises and reports on it properly. That combination is rare in grassroots delivery.
Our employee volunteering days with the Academy are the most requested CSR activity we run.
I came for a coffee morning and stayed for the whole pathway. It genuinely changed the direction of my year.
Our full policy suite is available to partners, funders and community members on request and published in summary here.
